POLICE OFFICERS

 

The City of Missouri City, a vibrant and economically strong community of 69,280 residents, located 15 minutes from the Texas Medical Center, 25 minutes from downtown Houston and strategically located for easy access to attractions throughout the entire Houston Metropolitan area, seeks qualified individuals to establish a list of eligible applicants for future police officers vacancies.

A qualified individual has:

 

  • A valid Peace Officer Certification from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education Certification (TCLEOSE) before test date;


  • A BA/BS or 2 years of continuous military service and a high school diploma or GED Certificate; and


  • The ability to perform the essential functions of a police officer.

 

Compensation: Starting salary, $42,000 police officers;  incentive pay; medical, dental, and vision insurance, 20 years retirement through the Texas Municipal Retirement System, 5 years vesting, 11 paid holidays, vacation and sick leave.
