Salary Range: $119,554 - $179,700 USD
Position Location: Washington, DC
The Deputy Assistant Commandant for Intelligence and
Criminal Investigations, in conjunction with the Assistant Commandant, manages
the Coast Guard's intelligence and criminal investigations programs.
The Deputy implements the process to source and screen
proposed enterprise solutions, internal and external, including new systems,
technologies, and strategies for improving intelligence efforts and their
effectiveness; assures their consistent and equitable application throughout
the service and interoperability within the Department of Homeland Security and
the Intelligence Community.Serves as
the strategic planning coordinator to decide, prioritize and direct the
Directorate's capabilities to align with actual and anticipated USCG, Agency,
Intelligence Community, executive branch, and other federal agency
requirements. Directs and leads staff in the design and implementation of
policies, regulations, and procedures; represents the USCG in national and
international programs; and advocates USCG positions on policy negotiations and
decision-making.
