Full-time staff position responsible
for overseeing Campus Police Officers and Probationary Campus Police Officers.
Under direction, plans, directs, supervises, assigns, reviews, and participates
in the work of law enforcement staff involved in traffic and field patrol,
investigations, crime prevention, community relations, and related services and
activities. Serves as commander on an assigned shift/location; oversees and
participates in all work activities; assumes responsibility for assigned
special programs, projects, or department-wide functions or activities;
coordinates activities with other agencies; and performs a variety of
administrative and technical tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility.
- Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years full-time
experience as a certified Police Officer OR
- Associate's degree plus eight (8) years full-time
experience as a certified Police Officer; OR
- High School Diploma or GED plus ten (10) years
full-time experience as a certified Police Officer.
- Police Officer Standards and Training Certification
