Greetings NOBLE Family,
Your NOBLE Executive Board will be convening in Baltimore, MD
April 30 & May 1 of 2010, beginning at 8:00am. I extend this invitation to encourage all Associate Members (particularly those in Regions 1 & 2 due to travel distance) to attend and experience a NOBLE Board meeting.
For those interested in organizational leadership this will be an ideal opportunity to witness how NOBLE works for you. This will be the third of four Board meetings before we arrive at the 2010 annual conference site. The NOBLE Board meeting is open to all NOBLE members unless the meeting is closed due to an executive session.
Associate members are also encouraged to become active in leadership roles at the chapter and regional levels as well. Your participation on a national standing committee or an ad-hoc committee is equally as important. The Retired Members Committee is still looking for members to join them in addressing the needs and concerns of retirees within NOBLE.
For the associate member who will succeed me on the Board, it is imperative to attend at least one Board meeting. This will truly begin your preparation as the next National Associate Members Representative or a well rounded member for our NOBLE organization.
