Latest Headlines Carolyn Williams Honored at Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Women's History Month Celebration

The Morris County
Prosecutor’s Office Community Affairs Unit, in partnership with New Jersey
Women in Law Enforcement honored distinguished women for their dedication to
the fields of public service. Appointments Counsel to the Governor Michele
Brown, Esq., was the night’s prominent Keynote Speaker, and was among six
notable women to be recognized for their commitment to their respected fields—Special
Agent in Charge Cynthia Wofford, United States Secret Service; Assistant
Special Agent in Charge Carolyn Williams, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms
and Explosives; Mayor Mary-Anna Holden, Madison Borough; Victoria Craig,
Director of Administration and Policy, Art in the Atrium; and Kisha
Pippins-Fields, President of the Pi Theta Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
Tributes to Women's History
Month included a musical selection by singer LaShon Whitfield of
Calvary Baptist Church, Morristown, NJ with her rendition of Unwritten, by
Natasha Bedingfield; a dance performance by
the students of the Carpe Motus Dance Company at the College of Saint Elizabeth
of Morristown, NJ, dancing to India Arie’s Beautiful;and a recitation of I Know Why a Caged Bird Sings, written by poet
Maya Angelou and read by New Jersey Poetry Out Loud Regional Finalist Monika
Michaluk.
