Taking advantage
of life means to live life to its fullest. What does that mean? I’m glad you
asked. It means to live life every day as if this day might be your last day on
this earth. Yesterday, I, along with others was given 24 hours, but we are not
guaranteed to get that same 24 hours today. So the question is what will you do
today to make this day a productive day for you and the ones you love, and for
the ones who love you?
In this year
alone we have seen or heard about the tragic deaths of law enforcement
officers from around this country. Men and women who go about doing what they do
best, protecting and serving, not knowing that, that fateful day was going to be their last
day on this earth. In the Bible, James Chapter 4 and Verse 14 teaches us that
our lives are a vapor, here today and gone for ever.
Life is precious.
We need to learn to treat each day with
the right spirit, knowing that one day it will be our last day on this earth.
Please understand that death is a part of life, knowing this ought to make us
want to take advantage of and appreciate life while we have time. What will you do with your
time?
