We are currently seeking a “community first” Police Chief who is an
adept communicator and collaborator and will be the face and heart of
the Police Division for every citizen in the City of Hampton. The
Hampton Police Division is a CALEA accredited law enforcement agency
with a sworn authorization of 296 officers. The Division is comprised
of sixteen operating districts in two sectors of the city, responding to
over 150,000 calls annually. The annual budget for the 2013 operating
year was $21,081,201.

The University of Massachusetts/Amherst invites applicants for the
position of Communications and Statistics Manager. The Communications
and Statistics Manager will report to the Deputy Chief of Operations and
function as a civilian member of the University of Massachusetts
Amherst Police Department Command Staff. The manager will be
responsible for the management, control, supervision, and efficiency and
effectiveness of the Communications Center, for providing timely and
accurate information and crime mapping for action at command staff
meetings and completion of the Annual Security Report (ASR-Clery) in
compliance with federally mandated requirements. The individual
appointed to this position supervises 12 Communications Dispatchers.
